Krabi is a province in south of Thailand. Krabi is a southern province on Thailand's Andaman seaboard with perhaps the country's oldest history of continued settlement. Krabi has many beautiful beaches and islands. The most famous island is Phi Phi Island which consists of 2 separate islands famed for their spectacular landscapes, beautiful beaches and spectacular island reefs teeming with variety of coral fishes. Ideal place to enjoy scuba diving. Its paradise-like appearance can best be seen in the movie, The Beach, where most of the filming occurred. Koh Lanta Yai is a predominantly Muslim fishing island where many resorts have recently sprouted up. The island is covered with forested hills sweeping down to numerous sandy bays on the western side. A good alternative for those seeking peace and quiet.
 
Krabi Scuba Diving You can do scuba diving in Krabi all year round, but the best period for diving conditions is from November to April. October also brings heavy rains to the Andaman Sea. From May to August, the weather is better in the Gulf of Thailand, so it will be better diving in Koh Samui.
Siboya Island, Krabi Siboya Island or Koh Siboya is a small island located 20 Km south of Krabi in Southern Thailand. Koh Siboya (pronounce see-boy-ya) is off the regular tourist trail. At Koh Siboya, there are about 1,000 residents living there.
Wat Tham Suea (Tiger Cave Temple) The name Wat Tham Suea derives from a story of a Buddhist monk name Jumnean Seelasettho. Around 1960s the monk wished to meditate in the caves then he saw tigers roaming around the cave. So the temple was named Tiger Cave Temple.
Krabi Cemetery of Shell The Cemetery of Shell located at Ban Laem Pho, 17 kms from downtown Krabi along the route to Hat Noppharat Thara. Long ago this was a freshwater marsh populated by clams and other bi-valves, chiefly little two centimeters long "Hoi Khom" or pond snails
Koh Jum Between Kho Lanta and Krabi Town, there is a small islands named Koh Jum. While the south end of the island is known as Koh Jum (or Jam or Cham), the northern part is also called Koh Phu (or Pu)

Noppharat Thara Beach Noppharat Thara Beach or Hat Noppharat Thara is a 3-kilometre long sandy beach located 6 kilometres from Ao Nang. The beach, paved with tiny seashells, was formerly called "Hat Khlong Haeng"
Krabi Nightlife Contrary to Nightlife in Pattaya, Krabi has something more tranquil. Ao Nang is the center of nightlife of Krabi. There are international restaurants, bars and some live music venues in Ao Nang while Koh Lanta give you natural attractions more than wilder entertainment.

Lanta Islands Koh Lanta lies on the west coast of Andaman Sea in between Krabi and Phi Phi Island. Large Size Island with 6 km wide and over 30 kms long, 9 beaches lie from north to south along the sunset coast. Stunning scenery, fantastic white sandy beaches, coastlines have more than 70 small islands and plenty with forest, coral reefs and under water life. The geography of the islan d is typically mangroves; coral rimmed beaches; and rugged tree covered hills. This island forms the most southern district of Krabi Province.
